The person whose planets are deployed in many different houses tends to have many interests and to try to juggle many responsibilities and connections. We can only scatter our energies in so many directions before we become as fragmented as the asteroid belt. However, when several planets clump together in a single house–as often happens with the Sun, Mercury, and Venus–even more houses are unoccupied. Given twelve houses and only ten planets, at least two houses will be vacant. What factors you include in your scan, of course, are up to you. Here, I pay attention only to the basic ten planets, not to a dozen asteroids or the Arabian parts, because those basic planets represent major focuses and expenditures of energy. When you scan a chart, some houses are empty while others are relatively full. But none of those compared to the ultimate test of teenage maturity: our first romance, and all those sexual milestones we had heard about. We were eager to grow up, imitating older teenagers and younger, "cooler" adults in how they dressed, talked, and acted. Kissing, having crushes, going to parties, drinking, smoking, and experimenting with drugs were all a part of it. Some of our peers grew faster than us, and others lagged behind. Years passed, and we ended up in our adolescence, where the creative changes of our body were admired with every new pubescent milestone. This was the start of our creative self-expression, where we could spend hours making things that had formally only existed in our own minds - drawing, stacking legos, writing stories, or prancing about pretending to be an animal. We were no different once, so engrossed in our own imaginations and our creative delusions that the worlds we created for ourselves almost felt real like they could be shared and admired by the world as much as they were by ourselves. Children are an egocentric lot, completely consumed with themselves. The movies we were excited to see, the television shows we watched every night, the music that was on the radio back then, the games we played, the toys we couldn't wait to get our hands on - all the things we loved so unapologetically, and coveted more than anything else in the world. The 5th House begins in the joys of our childhood. What does your Rising sign in your birth chart represent? Reading your daily, weekly, monthly, and even yearly horoscope can provide general guidance because it’s based solely on your Sun sign. A common misconception about birth charts is that they are like horoscopes, just individualized. The main reason knowing your natal chart is kind of a big deal: It’s unique to Y-O-U. Some astrology branches-Evolutionary Astrology, for example-even claim that your astrology birth chart is a window into your past lives and your soul’s entire journey. On a personal level, it also speaks of your strengths and weaknesses, opportunities for growth, and the absolute best (and worst) times to make big life changes. It contains powerful information about the types of energies you were exposed to at your precise moment of birth. An astrology chart-also called a birth chart or natal chart-is technically a snapshot of the position of the planets on the exact day, time, and location you were born. But it was the Aztecs, sometimes known as the Mexica, who would rise as one of the last and most dominant of the Mesoamerican civilizations.
